I just wanted to give all of you a head's up that Mestre Boneco's next
batizado is going to be Saturday April 21st. There will be workshops
the week before...the start date and schedule will be announced soon.
Also, the plan is that there will be kids workshops on Saturday before
the batizado....however, nothing is set in stone so be sure to follow up
with me. I just want to make sure that all of you have the dates....especially
Friday and Saturday....blocked on your calender. This is going to
be a great event for kids and beginners so everyone should plan to go.
We will have carpools and places for you to stay so no excuses! Let's
all make it there to support the group in LA.

This year we designed our festival with you in mind! Arriving on Oct. 2nd will give you 3 days to get to know our city, beaches, parks, zoo, nigthlife and more. There will be pre-workshops with teachers and contra-mestres and great rodas for all students to play in..
Arriving Thursday morning allows you to get the best workshops of Capoeira Brasil. We will have 2 days of workshops and two hours with each master. You will have enough time to absorb the knowlodge you are looking for. In addition, there will be a combined founder's workshop. Don't miss it!
If your life is just to busy to spend the week with us here then don't worry. There will still be plenty of Capoeira for you on the weekend! Saturday we will have a workshop with the 3 founders and a roda, after which we will have the first batizado of the weekend. There will be a lot of opportunities for you to play. Sunday will be packed with our Women's Event: Capoeira de Valor. a time for all women capoeiristas to listen to the experience of more-seasoned women capoeiristas, and the Barracao dos Mestres, a roda where the masters and high belt show will give their energy for you to sit and enjoy what will surely be some of the greatest games of the week. This will be followed by our second batizado. Inside the batizado there will be a lot of rodas and a lot of time for students of all levels to play.

Dear Sirs, from 23rd to 26th November WTKA World Championships of Kickboxing will take place in ITALY, at Viareggio Sport Arena.
WTKA World Championship’s disciples are SEMI CONTACT – LIGHT CONTACT
–KICK LIGHT- MUSICAL FORMS.
While 2007 WTKA World Championships will take place in Praga, Czech
Republic with FULL CONTACT – LOW KICK – THAI BOXE specialties.
WTKA decided to divide all Kickboxing specialties saw the big number
of Competitors in light contact specialties and in ring specialties.
For the first time WTKA World Championships of Kickboxing will be open
to everyone would like participate.
In fact it is an OPEN World Championships without registration limits
in any specialties.
Categories will be divided in: MEN - WOMEN, CADETS – JUNIORS – SENIORS
– MASTER (from 35 years old), INDIVIDUAL - TEAM. From 10 years old.
World Championships are opened to every Competitor from every Federation.
But it is necessary to have a regular medical certificate and a regular
insurance card for the year ending 2006.
WTKA World Championship is divided into 2 big Belt Divisions: from
white to brown belt and black belt.
Competitor may dress every wear of his own style with logo and sponsorships
but dress has not to be in contrast with WTKA Rules.
WTKA World Championships will have more than 1200 Competitors from
50 countries.
80 competition officials from the 5 continents more than 1000 kilograms
of trophies, and a spectacular opening ceremony among Viareggio streets
where Competitors will be accompanied by their countries flags and military
musical band for unforgettable moments.
Opening Ceremony will close inside Sport Arena with the famous lyric
“Nessun Dorma” and the Official WTKA President message.
So from 23rd until 26th NovemberCompetitors will be ready to compete
in friendships and with a sportmenlike behaviour to obtain the title of
World Champion.
WTKA World Championships will close with a great party organze for
the Competitors to give them the possibility to stay all together, and
to say each others good bye to the next World Championships.

Please join us in San Antonio, Texas this Sunday (June 12th) for the first in our monthly series of Silat Kuntau Tekpi training seminars.
The Malaysian martial art of Silat Kuntau Tekpi has five levels of training. The first two levels of the syllabus form a complete system of empty-handed beladiri (self-defense). After mastering the first two levels, the student then moves on to the next three levels which cover weaponry, battle-field tactics, multiple-opponents and spiritual training.
The first two levels are broken into 50 lesson modules or "buah". Each buah teaches an entry, a throw and lock or finishing technique.

demonstration will last half an hour and will take place in the hall

In succession of the very successfull Poekoelan Kemajoran MATJAN Show
2002,
the PKM association decided to announch the PKM Show 2003 that
will occure in october 26th 2003.

as soon as possible.
The Show of 2003 will be a more comprehensive and profound version
of the Show of 2002
(mix of theatre and demos). Our website will be updated within the

2002 is a very special year for Harimau Belgium. 20 years ago our school
was founded and we want to
organise a "SPECIAL EVENT" to celebrate this special anniversary.
Every year we organise an Open Belgian Championship (Memorial de Thomis),
but in 2002 this needs
to be something special. Last year we already had fighters from Singapore,
but now almost the complete
world of silat will come to Belgium. Top-teams from following countries
have already confirmed their
participation:

Other countries (Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, ...) already told us
they wanted to be present at this
special event, but they still need to confirm their participation.
At the moment already 80 international fighters have confirmed to participate and much more will follow.
With all these countries participating the open Belgian Champs 2002
will be the first competition
for more than 10 years with such a strong list of participating countries.
During this 3 day event we will not only organise fighting competitions,
but following countries will
also perform demonstrations during the opening ceremony: Belgium, The

Pukulan Pentjak Silat Mustika Kweetang is an Indonesian martial art.

style is composed of multiple strikes, takedowns, sweeps, joint locks,
grappling/wrestling, ground, knife, and stick fighting. This system

combination of finesse, applying physics, knowledge of anatomy, and
how
energy is directed. The emphasis is on economy of motion and efficient
self-defense. The art of Pentjak Silat is not widely known, nor has

been publicly available in this area until recently. It is based upon
maximum destructive output with minimum effort. Guru Ingram has been
practicing and teaching this art for longer than most of us have been
around, and moves likes someone half his age.

1: Take 95 South to Exit 27
2: At Exit 27, turn off onto Ramp
3: At the end of the ramp continue straight for one block (on Cedar
Street).
3: At the intersection of Cedar St. and George St. turn LEFT unto George
St. This will take you over I-95. Continue ahead a few
blocks (0.1 of a
mile), you'll pass Ole St. Mary's on the right.
4: As George Street leads directly into it, bear LEFT on Pawtucket
